Boyfriend = happy or miserable?

recently I've been feeling like my boyfriend just doesn't care anymore, we've been dating for over a year and recently he's started looking at uni's far away, I get upset and he just shrugs his shoulders. also hes talking to random girls more over the Internet and gets annoyed with me whenever I bring them up. I love him to absolute pieces and it would kill me to leave him but I just don't know what to do as recently all I can think about and do is cry and hate myself. please help.
