Do australians generally like the english, please answer easy 10 points, now im freaking out!?

I'm travelling this year, and made a great friend from Australia whilst in China who I've kept in touch with and am actually going to visit when I go there later this year! Australians are great and easygoing don't worry about it at all just be polite and friendly, what people have said is right it's the Americans who get a hard time pretty much anywhere! (especially from Canadians) English are generally liked :)
