How can I approach the alter of God, I have poor eyesight and crushed testicles?

I need corrective lenses and my ex-girlfriend kicked me in the nutsack. According to the bible I cannot approach the alter of God. What do I need to do? Does it involve "wood" and "hard" and other Beavis and Butt-head references?
