Iam trying to play pokemon white with the action replay but it freezes right before it's gonna start?

so when i turn on my action replay it brings me to the main ar screen and it says insert game so i insert it then the tittle pops up for pokemon white the us version. then i select 1 code and press start then it says reinsert the ar to save changes then it says put in game and when i do thats when it freezes and it doesen't bring me to the game? so could someone tell me how to get it working or how to reset my ar completly? bc i cant beat this one part in the game :P
