Nascar 2011 the game: why can't i do race replay!?

Ok i have Nascar 2011 the game and when i finish a race i try hitting race replay. Then it says this feature is unavailable while not using a xbox 360 hard drive. I have a xbox 360 and i know i have a hard drive because i bought one. HELP ME!!!!
